It's looking like Sony America will not be implementing the UMD passport program which has allowed owners of the Sony PS Vita in Japan to transfer their PSP games over to their new Vita. The UMD passport program worked by allowing owners of PSP games to register their ownership on the Playstation Store by inserting the physical game into their PSP. Disappointing Sony PlayStation Vita Sales Prompt Price Cuts!
Well it seems that the launch of the new Sony PlayStation Vita didn't go quite as well as Sony hoped, much like we predicted very early on. Retailers are already cutting prices by as much as 20% on the Vita ahead of any official announcements from Sony.
